This project visualizes the time spent on the "mainland" by Song Myeong-gyu, who was born on Jeju Island.

Showcased as a graduation exhibition, the work documents a total of 156 flights taken between February 18, 2017, and November 13, 2024, through the mediums of books, a website, and furniture. The photo book 2017. 02. 18 ― 2024. 11. 13 features flight logs, photographs of the sky, and text messages exchanged with his mother, while Unsent Letters—Letters from the Earth compiles letters that were never sent, written while reflecting on received correspondence and the people met along the way. The digital component, Resending Letters, allows users to glimpse different skies depending on the time of day and provides a space for visitors to send their own letters (https://myeong.kr/flight/). Additionally, B737-800 is a piece of furniture inspired by the wing shape of the aircraft most frequently flown between Jeju and Gimpo; it is designed to evoke the sensation of flying, inviting the audience to imagine a flight within the exhibition space.
